One of Junette Whyte's greatest wishes is to celebrate her fiance Ricardo Evans' 43rd birthday with him on Saturday, December 17, but the sound system operator cannot be found.

"This is unlike him, he will not do this. I really want him back home, in fact everyone wants him back home. His parents are not taking it too well and his children are really worried. It would mean the world to me to spend his birthday with him. I had plans for him. He would not go away and leave us just like that. It has only been sleepless nights for everyone," Whyte said.

Reports from the Harbour View police are that about 5:21 p.m. on November 6, Evans was last seen at home in Harbour View, wearing a blue merino, blue shorts and a pair of black and white slippers. All efforts to contact him have proven futile. He is of dark complexion, slim build and about 178 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) tall.

Whyte said the last time she spoke to Evans was the evening of November 6.

"He was supposed to pick up back his car at a garage in east Kingston, and the mechanic said he had done so. I called him on video call minutes after 5 p.m. on November 6 and I told him to come for his dinner, but he said he was going for his car. I didn't see him come home but I didn't take it as nothing because I knew he had a gig that night and thought he had went there and gone to his other house, because he lives on and off with me," she said.

The following morning, Whyte said when she tried to contact Evans, his phone went directly to voicemail. She also received a voicenote that was circulating that he had gone missing.

"I have been devastated from I heard the voicenote. One of the guys who gave him the car had said that Ricardo had pushed off the panic button on his car the Sunday night. The car was last seen in the vicinity of Half-Way Tree area. He and his silver Probox just disappear in thin air. A tracker was on the vehicle but it cannot be tracked," she said.

Whyte, who has been in a relationship with Evans for the past three years, said that after a month, she is now faced with the reality that she may never see him alive again.

"Honestly, at first I thought probably him buck a woman and gone spend time with her, but he was going to return home. But now, I am trying to face the reality that he may never come home. I am just pleading with whoever to just fling him body somewhere so we can bury him and get some closure. If not, please just send him home because we really miss him," she said.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Ricardo Evans is asked to contact the Harbour View police at (876) 928-6001, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
