Clarendon security guard charged with murder
Sirron Walford, a security guard from May Pen in Clarendon, was arrested and charged after police investigations revealed he was involved in a recent murder.
According to the police, on Thursday, December 7, 31-year-old Joseph McLean was at a bar in May Pen, when he was pounced upon by three armed men who opened gunfire at him.
The men escaped in a motor vehicle while McLean was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A day after the murder, police investigations lead them to apprehend Walford. He was subsequently charged with murder after a question and answer session.
His court date is being finalised.
