Delivery bikers fatally shot along Red Hills Road

The St Andrew North police have launched an investigation into the murder of two men along Red Hills Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning. 

They have been identified as 30-year-old Shavana ‘Shavi’ Palmer and 26-year-old Corey ‘Twinnny’ Hunter, both from Colbeck Avenue in Kingston 20.

The STAR understands the men, who are both delivery bikers, were sitting in the area after completing a job, when armed men alighted from a motor vehicle that pulled up to them.

The assailants fire several shots at the bikers before escaping in the waiting vehicle. 

The police were alerted, and on their arrival, the bodies of the deceased were found lying in blood. They were taken to hospital where they were confirmed dead. 

The St Andrew North Police Division has recorded 56 murders as at December 16.

This represents a 3.4 per cent reduction year on year.
