'Ratman' charged following break-in
The Clarendon police say they have arrested and charged 20-year-old Dwayne ‘Ratman’ Richards, after he allegedly broke into a home in May Pen and stole several items, destroying parts of the property in the process.
He has been charged with burglary, larceny and malicious destruction of property.
According to the May Pen Police are that about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, Richard entered the complainant house and removed several items. A grille and window blade was destroyed in the process.
A report was made to the police who commenced an investigation.
On Friday, December 12, Richards was arrested during an operation in the area.
On Wednesday, December 27 he was charged after he was positively identified during an identification parade. A court date for him is being finalised.
