August Town teens found with ammunition

The police say two boys, 15 and 17, were arrested and charged after several rounds of ammunition were found in their possession along Bedward Garden Crescent in August Town, Kingston 7.

They have been charged with unauthorised possession of ammunition.

According to the Half Way Tree Police, about 1:58 a.m. on New Year's Day, lawmen were on patrol in the area when the three boys were seen acting in a manner that aroused their suspicion.

The boys were approached, searched, and a transparent bag retrieved. It was found to contain 12 nine millimetre rounds.
