'Buss Head' shot dead in St Ann

The police in St Ann have launched an investigation into the shooting death of Neville Sawyers, also known as 'Buss Head' in Inverness District, on Tuesday night. 

The 31-year-old was reportedly killed at a business place in the community.

According to the police, about 8:00 p.m., Sawyers went to conduct business at a shop, when an explosion was heard. Checks were made and his body was found with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The police were contacted, and the deceased body was removed.

Sawyers is the second person to be shot and killed in the parish since the start of the year.
