Mocho police recover stolen goats
The Clarendon police have arrested and charged 29-year-old Kevon Rowe, after was allegedly caught with stolen goats in Mocho, in the parish last Sunday.
It is reported that on Sunday, lawmen from the Mocho Police Station were on patrol when they received information that men suspected to have stolen goats were men seen aboard a white Toyoto Axio motorcar along the Mocho main road.
The vehicle was intercepted, and 3 goats were found. The men reportedly ran. Rowe, however, turned himself in to the police on Tuesday, and was subsequently charged.
A 75-year-old farmer is breathing a sigh of relief after 2 of the goats were returned to him. The police say the third goat was returned to its owner - another farmer in the parish.
Rowe's court date is being finalised.
