Quick-thinking truck driver saves colleague

The actions of a quick-thinking truck driver prevented what could have been a worse situation on Queens Drive in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday afternoon.

The STAR understands the driver of the Hino truck was forced to swing onto an elevated sidewalk along the roadway following the careless driving of another motorist. 

Witnessing what happened, the driver of the Volvo truck quickly used his vehicle to prevent his colleague from overturning and causing possible injury. 

The incident has since created a traffic build-up. Motorist are advised to proceed with caution.
