14-y-o charged with larceny
The Central Police say they have charged a 14-year-old Kingston teen with shopbreaking and larceny, after he allegedly broke into a woman's shop and stole several items.
It is reported that about 10:30 p.m. on January 25, the complainant securely locked up her shop when the teen reportedly cut the grille and entered the premises.
A sum of cash and grocery items were stolen from the establishment. The complainant made a report to the police, who commenced an investigation.
The teen confessed to his mother, who later handed him over to the police, where he was subsequently charged. A court date for him is being finalised
