Overcast skies and drizzling rain was not enough to stop People's National Party (PNP) supports in the Albert Town Division, in the Trelawny Southern.

The nomination process began this morning at the office of the returning officer for the constituency, Talbert Golding, at 10:00 a.m. as the rain began.

However, despite the rain, PNP supporters came out in musical style to support their councillor candidates, including Lloyd Gillings and Gregory Clarke for the Lorrimers division.

"The PNP nah go stop come out, and when we done we a go motorcade inna di rain and show Jamaica that South Trelawny ready. We a go show the Member of Parliament who have the constituency from nearly four terms sey we ready fi move them," PNP supporters Hopeton Martin declared.
