‘Killy Killy’ charged with attempted murder
A second man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Site District, Amity Hall, St James, on Saturday, January 27.
He has been identified 29-year-old Desroy Martin, otherwise called ‘Killy Killy’ and ‘Lenny’, of Cottage Road in Welcome Hall, in the parish.
Police reports say that about 8:45 p.M., Martin and his co-accused, Ricardo Edwards, who was charged earlier this month, drove to a shop in the area.
Edwards brandished a firearm while walking towards a man who ran to escape injury. The man was later greeted by Martin and Edwards at his home, where they opened gunfire at him.
The man escaped a second time and reported the incident to the police.
Martin was handed over to the police by his attorney on Thursday, February 8, and was later charged.
He has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, using a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a firearm with intent to injure and discharge of firearm in any place.
