Death penalty being sought for trigger man in death of MP's daughter

Director of Public Prosecutions, Paula Llewelyn, has indicated that the crown is seeking the death penalty against David Smith. 

Smith is the alleged trigger man accused of murdering Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell's 10-month-old daughter and the child's mother.

He was served with a notice in the Home Circuit Court today during the court proceeding where Smith, Leoda Bradshaw and Roland Balford were physically present. 

Their other c0oaccused persons joined online. 

David Smith unrepresented wishes the court to get him a lawyer. A legal aid assignment was ordered for the accused.

They were allegedly taken to east Kingston and shot and killed and their bodies burnt.
