St Catherine family killed in suspected firebombing

The St Catherine police have launched a probe into the death of a family of four, who died in the suspected firebombing of their home in Central Village on Tuesday morning.  

The incident resulted in the death of a mother, her two daughters and grandchild.

The STAR understands that sometime after 2:00 a.m., when cooling down operations were being by the fire brigade, their charred remains were found. Sources say that three bodies were found on the veranda and one in the bathroom.

There has been tension in the St Catherine community since Sunday. 

A woman was shot in her face, and in another incident, a man was shot and killed and his home was also firebombed.
