58-y-o dies following car accident

Fifty-eight-year-old Charles Malcolm, a labourer from Spanish Town in St Catherine, died today from injuries he sustained after being hit by a car in February. 

He died about 1:00 a.m. at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH). 

It is reported that about 11:15 p.m., Malcolm was pushing a stroller laden with scrap metal along Old Harbour Road in the parish when he was hit by a car being operated as a taxi.

The injured Malcolm was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital and transferred to the KPH, where he was admitted.

The St Catherine North Traffic Department is conducting an investigation in the matter.
