Mother seeks DNA test after partner cries ‘jacket’
In a heart-wrenching plea to the public, 26-year-old Kay* is asking for assistance in securing a paternity test after her partner suddenly accused her of infidelity.
"He's been crying 'jacket' about the baby since birth, saying the child's complexion isn't like his," she told THE STAR.
Kay revealed that she and her partner have had an on-and-off relationship for five years. Despite having two other children, and knowing that her partner was involved with other women, Kay decided to have a child with him.
"He was always nagging me about having a baby for him. I got pregnant last year, and I had a miscarriage because of the way he was behaving. I was stressed and in and out of hospital. He wasn't there any at all. He was with his other woman, which I found out about after I got pregnant. When I found out, I packed everything on my head and it plagued my mind, and I lost the baby," she said.
However, Kay said her partner apologised and begged her for another baby, promising it would be different. She pushed aside the memories of her miscarriage and agreed to have a baby.
"He told me that this time it would be different, so I went ahead and tried again. I wasn't thinking about what happened the first time. He was there for me for a little while, but he was with his other woman. The woman found out about me and that I was pregnant, so she called me and asked; and I told her that whatever him tell her, she should work with it," Kay said.
Kay said soon after, her partner began telling his woman that he was not the one who got her pregnant. Now, with her partner casting doubt on the baby's parentage, she just wants clarity.
"Him say him just want to prove say the baby is his, but I should go and get the test done. I know I didn't sleep with anyone else, for sure. He knows the baby belongs to him. For the sake of my baby, I just want the test done so everyone can come off his name. I don't want him to be in the limelight in such a negative manner. At this point, I just want to clear the air; and he doesn't even have to give me anything for the baby," she said.
"I am asking anyone who can help me to do the DNA test to please do so. I just want to be over with this. I have never cheated, but I just want it to be over and done," added the unemployed mother of three.
