Landscaper charged for allegedly stealing oranges
The Clarendon police have arrested and charged 25-year-old landscaper Anthony Marshall, of Lamparth district, Trout Hall in the parish for allegedly stealing oranges from a property in his community on Sunday.
Police reports say that at 6:00 p.m. that day a man allegedly saw Marshall picking oranges from a tree on his property and called him out.
The accused ran away with a bag of the fruit with an estimated value of $20,000.
A report was made to the police and an investigation launched.
Marshall was subsequently pointed out by the complainant, arrested and charged with praedial larceny.
His court date is being finalised.
