Teen girl brutally attacked during home invasion

A manhunt is now ongoing for the intruder responsible for leaving a teen girl hospitalised with severe head injuries after she was assaulted in her home in the Corporate Area today.

The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. and residents are angry that the man managed to escape.

"Him do the little girl bad... chop her up and it look like him all rape her," a resident said.

The police were summoned to the scene and assisted the badly injured girl to hospital.

A manhunt is now on for the attacker who reportedly escaped on foot.

The Hunts Bay Police are probing the incident.
