Son charged with dad’s murder
Twenty-year-old Jerry-Neol Dixon, otherwise called 'Ojay,' of Goodwin Park Road, Kingston 4, has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of his father, Sean Dixon, on March 15.
The elder Dixon, 53, was a labourer of a Price Lane, Kingston address. Reports from the Kingston Central police are that at 12:25 p.m., Jerry-Neol, who was armed with a knife, pounced upon his father while he was lying in his motor car at his home. He then used the knife to inflict several wounds to his upper body before escaping the area on foot. The father was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Jerry-Neol later turned himself in to the police, where he was charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney. A court date for him is being arranged.
