Suspected gunman evades police, leaves behind loaded gun

The Western Kingston police are on the hunt for an alleged gunman who managed to evade them in the division on Tuesday, reportedly leaving a loaded gun behind.

The police say about 3:13 p.m., they responded to the sound of explosions along Ramsay Road in Denham Town.

They say the suspect was spotted and he dropped the weapon and fled the scene.

The police say they retrieved a Glock pistol affixed with a magazine along with 30 rounds of nine millimetre cartridges.
