Woman dies from injuries following car crash in Clarendon
A Clarendon woman has succumbed to injuries sustained when her car collided with motor truck along the Savannah Cross roadway in Clarendon on Wednesday.
She is 31-year-old Shaunakay McLean-Gordon.
About 11:45 a.m. McLean-Gordon was driving a Honda Fit motor car along the roadway when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which collided with an Isuzu motor truck.
McLean-Gordon, who resided in Mineral Heights, Clarendon, was taken to the May Pen Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The 53-year-old driver of the Isuzu truck was warned for prosecution.
The May Pen Traffic Department is investigating the matter.
