Alleged serial rapist arrested

January 22, 2026

Detectives from the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) have hauled in a suspected serial rapist who allegedly preyed on multiple victims across parishes between 2023 and 2026--all while he was out on bail for similar crimes.

The accused, 25-year-old Ackiel Davis of Cornwall Barracks, Moore Town, Portland, now faces a shocking array of charges: Rape, grievous sexual assault, use of a computer for malicious communication, and production of child pornography.

His latest alleged victim is a 16-year-old girl.

Authorities say the suspect lured victims online, obtained explicit images and videos--including of minors--and then blackmailed them. Threatening to leak the content on social media, Davis allegedly forced victims to comply with his sexual demands, recording acts in the process.

C-TOC said that Davis is an alleged repeat offender who is currently before the courts for offences allegedly committed between 2023 and 2024. Those offences involve four other complainants. The police said he committed the latest crimes while already out on bail for previous sexual offences.

He is due back in court on February 10, for the prior cases, while a date for the new charges is being finalised.
