Ristananna Tracey announces new club

World bronze medallist Ristananna Tracey has revealed that she is now being conditioned by renowned hurdles coach Lawrence 'Boogie' Johnson and his Hurdles Mechanic training group in the United States of America.

Tracey, who left the Maurice Wilson-coached Sprintec group last the summer, made the revelation on Instagram yesterday.

"I am pleased to announce that I have joined the Hurdle Mechanic training group, under the guidance of Boogie Johnson," the post read.

"I welcome the challenge of training with world-class athletes in continuing my journey in track and field. The support has been going well thus far, and I am adapting well."

Tracey is now in the company of Olympic 100m gold medallist Brianna McNeal, Olympic 400m gold Dalilah Muhammad and Olympic 100m bronze medallist Kristi Castlin.

The 26-year-old is joining her fourth club since she graduated from Edwin Allen High School in 2011.

She joined the MVP Track Club immediately out of school then moved to the Racers Track Club a year later.

Under the tutelage of Wilson, Tracey enjoyed her best senior season when she ran a personal best of 53.74 seconds at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in London last year to earn the bronze medal.
