Rajay Wright on fire for St Bess FC

St Bess FC thrashed Porus 5-1 to maintain their six-point lead atop the Jamaica Football Federation National Super League.

Jamaican youth player Rajay Wright hit a brace for the winners. He has now scored seven goals this season. Marlon Fletcher and Oshane Staple were also on the scoresheet.

In the 10-team league played between Manchester and St Elizabeth, St Bess lead with 29 points from 13 games.

Black Stars, another of the St Elizabeth teams, maintained the second position on 23 points with a 1-1 away to Manchester’s Villa United.

Villa United remained sixth with 17 points.

Treasure Beach FC defeated New Holland 3-0 to move into the fourth position on 21 points. They moved ahead of Alligator Pond, who have a game in hand, on 18 points.

Los Perfectos FC, third in the league on 22 points, played to a 0-0 draw at home with Holland PYC, 15 points.
