More positive COVID-19 tests in Reggae Boyz’ camp

The national senior men's camp face further complications ahead of their friendly international match against Saudi Arabia tomorrow as two members of the delegation tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to a release from the Jamaica Football Federation yesterday evening, a player and a member of the technical team were diagnosed from the results of their PCR tests which were administered yesterday. Two other players are currently under investigation, which will complicate matters for head coach Theodore Whitmore ahead of tomorrow's game which is still scheduled to kick off at 12:00 p.m. Jamaica time

The four individuals, who were in the 48-hour quarantine with the group, will be isolated in a different wing from their hotel away from the team as per health protocols from the Saudi Arabia Football Federation.

This is the third positive case within the camp. Humble Lion goalkeeper Dennis Taylor was forced to withdraw from the squad as he tested positive for the virus en route to Saudi Arabia on November 7.
