BEST

TIVOLI GARDENS

Tivoli Gardens have had difficulties being clinical in the final third at various stages this season but against Montego Bay United, they put together a strong attacking display in a 5-2 victory that showed their capabilities, completing a season series sweep. Boosted that their top-flight standing is secure, they go into their season finale against Arnett Gardens on a high.

DUNBEHOLDEN

Combined with Waterhouse's three-point deduction from using an ineligible player, Dunbeholden's 7-1 thrashing of Chapelton Maroons have vaulted them into the final playoff spot and control over their playoff destiny in their regular season finale against Mount Pleasant.

ARNETT GARDENS

Arnett Garden's 3-0 win over Harbour View secured the valuable first-round bye and can claim the regular season title for the first time since the 2014-2015 season. Their regular-season finale will be a difficult West Kingston derby against Tivoli, who have suddenly found their scoring spark at the tail-end of their campaign.

CAVALIER

Cavalier took one step closer to securing their second first-round bye in three seasons after a 4-2 win over Molynes United, despite being sanctioned for using an ineligible player, also in their game against Waterhouse. A point against Montego Bay United in their season finale will be enough to secure passage straight to the semifinals, where they hope to begin their path to winning their second title in three years.

WORST

WATERHOUSE

Through an error of their own making, Waterhouse were found guilty of playing Shaqueil Bradford in their match against Cavalier two weeks ago and have been docked three points as punishment. That mistake, combined with the 1-1 draw with Humble Lion, their playoff future is out of their hands. Provided they don't win their appeal, Waterhouse go into their regular season finale against Humble Lion needing to win and hope Dunbeholden do not match that result to get into the playoffs.

CHAPELTON MAROONS

Chapelton are now becoming fodder for the other teams in the league. They are on course to concede the most goals in a season since the 2014-2015 season when Barbican let in 61. Their 7-1 thrashing by Dunbeholden has now seen them allow 58 goals this season with a goal difference of negative 48.

MONTEGO BAY UNITED

Montego Bay could not use the momentum gained from their 69th-minute equaliser, and a late surge doomed them to a 5-2 loss to Tivoli Gardens. It is their second defeat to the West Kingston-based Tivoli this season, and have now conceded eight goals in their two meetings.
