Jamaica's Women's cricketers secured their second win in the ongoing regional T20 Blaze competition following a five-wicket win over their Guyana counterparts in their fixture at Warner Park in St Kitts last night.

After winning the toss and taking first strike, Guyana Women could only manage to get 107 for seven in their allotted 20 overs, with the diminutive wicket-keeper batter Mandy Mangru top scoring with 36 from 39 balls before she was stumped by Rashada Williams off captain Stafanie Taylor.

Captain Shemaine Campbelle chipped in with 36 against two wickets each for Taylor and Chinelle Henry.

The Jamaicans started their reply badly when they lost opener Natasha McLean for a duck off the third ball bowled in the innings by Plafianna Millington.

After Chedean Nation was bowled for seven, the Jamaicans were in a spot of bother, but captain Taylor and opener Williams took the Jamaicans close to the target with Taylor getting 33 from 21 balls with six fours, while Williams went on to top score with 42 from 55 balls with five fours.

Chinelle Henry with seven not out and Lena Scott, one, took the Jamaicans over the line at 108 for five in 18.1 overs.

Earlier, the Barbados Women defeated the Windward Islands Women by 19 runs, while Trinidad and Tobago Women secured a nine-wicket win over the Leeward Islands Women.
