St Mary-based Tacky High will face off against St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) for the ISSA/TVJ Super 8 T20 title on Saturday at Sir P Oval in Treadlight, Clarendon, after dominating semi-final performances yesterday.

In the first semi-final, at Sabina Park, Tacky delivered a commanding 61-run victory over Clarendon College. Tacky posted 128 in 19.2 overs, with Jordan Pinnock leading the charge with 24 runs before being bowled by Terrome Gayle. Javere Green contributed a crucial 23, and Jiovanni Richardson added 15. Romeo McDonald took two wickets for Clarendon.

Clarendon's chase faltered early due to poor running between the wickets, resulting in three run-outs among their top four batters. Dijauni West top-scored with 22, while Kavel Bailey managed 12. Tequan Roberts and Jovannie Palmer each took two wickets, limiting Clarendon to 67 for eight in their 20 overs.

In the second semi-final, STETHS easily defeated Headley Cup champions Manchester High by eight wickets. Manchester struggled with the bat, posting just 76 in 16.3 overs. Tesfah Ward Jr top scored with 27, and Barrington Simpson added 10. Kevaun Brown was the standout bowler for STETHS, taking four wickets, while Tyriek Bryan and Kevoni Graham claimed two each.

Bryan then led STETHS's successful run chase with an unbeaten 47 off 54 balls, guiding them to 77 for two in 15.1 overs.
