Following their 1-1 draw against Montego Bay United during the week, defending champions Cavalier SC will look to get all three points when they square off against Humble Lions in the Wray and Nephew-sponsored Jamaica Premier League (JPL) on Sunday at Stadium East.

Cavalier currently sit fifth in the JPL standings on 23 points after Wednesday's draw and will be looking to climb up the ranks in their next outing.

The reigning JPL and Concacaf Caribbean Club champions are without a win in their last two outings and are seeking to return to winning ways.

They will open their second-round fixtures against a Humble Lions squad that is embroiled in a relegation battle.

Cavalier's head coach Rudolph Speid is now fully focused on improving their JPL standings.

"The first round is done and dusted. We were distracted, it's the second round now so let's see," he stated in a post-match interview.

They will be looking towards usual suspects Jalmaro Calvin, Shaquille Stein and Dwayne Atkinson for goals as the trio have bagged 14 goals so far this season.

For Humble Lion, it will be a mountain to climb as they go in search for their second win of the season, sitting 13th in the standings with 10 points.

The Clarendon-based Humble Lions are winless in their last six attempts, with their only victory this season being a close 1-0 win over Molynes United in match week seven.

They will draw some confidence ahead of the match as their earlier meeting against Cavalier this season ended in a 1-1 draw, with Odane Murray scoring their all-important equaliser.

The pair of Andre Clennon and Afiba Chambers have been leading the goalscoring line for Humble Lions, each having two goals this season.

Cavalier will face Humble Lions at 5:30 p.m. in the second match of a doubleheader, after Molynes United face off against Tivoli Gardens in the opening match at 3 p.m.

Molynes, rooted at the foot of the table, will hope to snatch a vital win against Tivoli to move out of the relegation zone.

Tivoli will enter the fixture with the hopes of returning to winning ways as in their last outing they were turned back 4-2 by Montego Bay United.

In other Sunday fixtures, league leaders Mount Pleasant Football Academy will play host to Portmore United as they look to extend their gap at the top.

Mount Pleasant have tallied 28 points this season, with Arnett Gardens trailing behind in a close second on 27.

The Junglists, on the other hand, will travel to Dunbeholden in their next outing. Arnett are hoping for another win over Dunbeholden this season, having defeated them 3-0 in their opening game of the JPL.
