Prospects look bright for big Reggae 6 pay-out

STARTING afresh for the first meet of February after Sunday's mandatory payout, Saturday's Reggae 6 is a prime target to aim at. The possibility exists of a single-winning ticket picking up the minimum guaranteed payout of 3.5 million, in addition to a $1 million seed, making it $4.5 million up for grabs.
Sunday's catch was a decent one, 96 winning Reggae 6 bets for a payout of $277,276 from a net pool of $26.6 million.
YOU LOOK OK was the toughest to spot, reversing almost 18 lengths on 4-5 favourite MEDAL AWARD, winning the fifth event at odds of 22-1.
Enterprising bettors aiming at Saturday's single-winning ticket of $4.5m could start with back-to-back bankers, MARCH AND SHOOT and PRINCESS AMAHLE, before doubling in the third and spreading bets in the fourth and fifth.
After stunning his then new connections at 43-1 on November 9, MARCH AND SHOOT returned December 7 with a similar late burst, at more confident odds of 4-1, but was held by super-fit MILOS at seven furlongs.
Returning among $1 million claimers at the exact trip in the opener, MARCH AND SHOOT's only threat could be GREEN GOLD RUSH, should the eight-year-old rediscover the form he enjoyed up to last year April, finishing third behind the likes of ATOMICA and IS THAT A FACT.
