I used to drink the spirit weed

Dear Pastor,

I am 28 and I am from Frankfield, Clarendon. As a boy growing up, I used to drink the spirit weed every morning. In fact, to me, it tasted far better than the fever grass, but smells just as great. It usually grows in cracks of concrete or near outside pipes, but I have not seen it in many years.

Perhaps I have seen this plant, but I really cannot say I know it. I have been told that people use it to treat influenza, headaches, etc. I am not recommending this plant, I am simply commenting on what I was told.
