The Bible says we should submit one to another

Dear Pastor,

Women have absolutely no reason to be submissive to men whether they are educated or uneducated. These men who think that women should submit to them are ignorant and need to be taught. The man who called you and insisted that women should submit to men is ignorant, and I am sorry that you did not say to him that the same Bible says that we should submit one to the other.

When a couple is in love with each other it is not difficult to follow the advice of each other. They learn to reason and to compromise and the man does not have to insist that his wife should submit to him. You are quite right in saying that the Bible says a man and his wife must submit to each other and that one should not want to have his/her own way.
