My sister's boyfriend asked me for sex
Dear Pastor,
I am a 17-year-old girl and in December I will be 18. I started having sex when I was 15. I live with my mother and stepfather. I have an older sister who lives with her boyfriend. I used to go and spend time with my sister, but I don't go anymore.
My sister has a baby and I used to babysit. Her boyfriend asked me to have sex with him one evening when my sister was not at home. He is 30. I told him no and when my sister came home I told her about it. She asked him about it and he called me a liar and said that since I have been coming there I was the one asking him for sex. He told her that when I sit down I don't sit properly; I expose myself and he can see my underwear.
Pastor, this is not so. My sister said she does not know who to believe. I told her she could believe him. That night I could not sleep; the following morning I asked her for money to go home. She gave it to me and I have never gone back to her house.
I told my mother what happened and she cursed my sister. Do you think I should have told my sister that her boyfriend asked me for sex?
P.G.
Dear P.G.,
I am not surprised that your sister's man accused you of lying. You know that you are speaking the truth. If you were exposing yourself to this man and doing everything to get him to be interested in you sexually and he didn't like it, he should not have waited until you complained about his conduct. He should have report you to your sister. You are quite correct in telling your sister about his conduct and your mother had a right to defend you.
Pastor
