My boyfriend cursed me for getting pregnant

Dear Pastor,

I am a regular reader of your column. I am 25 years old and I have a two-year-old daughter. Her father took her and gave her to his mother so that I could go back to school.

But now, I am pregnant again and my babyfather is blaming me. I was taking the Pill, so I don't know how I got pregnant. He says that he is not spending any more money on me. I told him to give me money to have an abortion, but he said that he didn't want any trouble to follow him because abortion was murder.

I am sorry that I told him that I was pregnant. I could have borrowed the money from a police friend of mine that I am also seeing and have had the abortion.

This policeman loves me more than tongue can tell, and every time we have sex, he uses a condom. Every time my boyfriend and I have an argument, he talks about the pregnancy and says that I don't have any ambition. As soon as I have this baby, I plan to ask him if he wants us to give his mother the child.

I don't know why my mind has turned against him. Sometimes I don't even want to see him. He is hardly giving me any money. My police friend told me that he would help me. I did not want another child. Bad luck took me.

Bad luck did not get you. You were very careless. You claimed to be on the Pill, but you got pregnant anyway.

It is likely that you haven't taken the Pill according to the instructions. You have not been a very good girl either because while you had a very serious relationship with your child's farther, you were having sex with another man, and now you are saying that this man would have given you the money to have an abortion.

Frankly, I don't think you are a good girl, but I ought not to condemn you because it seems to me that part of the reason you were unfaithful was because you were in need financially.

Perhaps that is the reason why you turned to this policeman. You ought to make up your mind which of these men you would like to spend the rest of your life with.

Is it the policeman, or is it your child's father? It is very unwise for a woman to be having sex with two different men at the same time.
