May Pen Hospital in emergency mode for the weekend

The May Pen Hospital (MPH) in Clarendon will be accepting only emergency cases starting on Friday at 4 p.m.

Normal operations will resume on Monday, October 1 at 8 a.m.

In a release sent today, the MPH said this is to facilitate the installation of a new ducting system and other renovation works.

The management team of the MPH is encouraging persons to utilise the other health facilities within Clarendon.

In the statement, the team apologised for the inconvenience that may arise and craved the understanding of clients as they sought to enhance service delivery and ensure the continued safety of clients and staff.
