Two motorcyclists killed in crash

There has been a reduction in motorcyle fatal accidents.

Two men are dead following a motorcycle collision on the Prospect main road this morning in Westmoreland.

They are 29-year-old Tean Collin, hotel worker of Church Lincoln district in Westmoreland and 29-year-old  Kerol Bernard unemployed of Prospect district.

Reports from the Frome Police are that about 10:45 a.m., Collin was driving a motorcycle in a northerly direction along the main road. It is alleged that while attempting to overtake a parked motor truck, he collided into Bernard who was also driving a motorcycle in the opposite direction.

Both men sustained injuries and were taken to hospital where they both died while undergoing treatment.

Investigation continue.
