Jay5 Flow gets 'Controversial' on new single
Jay5 Flow plans to raise the bar with the release of his new single titled 'Controversial'. The track, he says, speaks about his day-to-day experiences and echoes community happenings between friends and family.
"It's a song about family life and stuff that affects our community," the singer said.
Controversial features works from up- and-coming producer Luckes Gordon, aka Lucas, of Lucas L3 Production.
Jay5 Flow, whose given name is Omar Forsythe, spent his earlier years in Ocho Rios, St Ann, but migrated to the United States after completing his studies.
The entertainer said he got involved in acting while living in California. He said he made small appearances in episodes of CSI Miami, Franklyn and Family Time.
In 2008, he inked a record deal with Spragga Benz's Red Square label and shortly after released his debut single Back Against the Wall. Other songs that follow included Just Dance, Nuh Regular and Shake it Senorita.
"I want to use my talent to push unity within the musical landscape of Jamaica. My passion for success is the driving force behind my music and I plan to continue to deliver hot fusions, great music inside and outside of mainstream reggae market," he said.
