The 2018 FIFA World Cup starts today, and like most people in Jamaica who are already wearing their colours and are supporting one team or another, Shane O is excited.

The STAR of the Month said he is a big Brazil fan.

Speaking with The STAR, the Partner Draw artiste said that he has been supporting the South American team since he was a child.

"From mi a likkle youth mi seh Brazil still enuh," he said.

The drive behind his support stemmed from great players within the team such as Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, both of whom are still being talked about today.

"Mi used to the Ronaldo and the other man dem, you know all the name dem weh rhyme up," he said between laughs.

"You know the man dem name sound close. Dem bad dem time deh. So a dem mi always a bring," he added.

Unlike many people who consistently support one team, Shane O was a big Germany fan until the tragic 7-1 defeat that Brazil suffered at the hand of the European side.

The heartbreak that he suffered was more than he could bear, and his alliance with the German team ended on that very bleak day.

"You know a nuh one side, you affi have two side, so the last World Cup mi carry Germany and Brazil. When the man dem meet up, the way dem (Germany) deal will dem (Brazil), mi a seh, 'Jah know star'," he said.

"Dem did a mi two side, enuh, but mi nuh like Germany from that," he said.
