No publicity for Marvin, Nickeisha's baby

Dancehall couple Marvin the Beast and DHQ Nickeisha will be taking precautions to shield their baby from the spotlight. They revealed that aside from the sex of the baby, they will be taking their time in revealing any other details about their child. This includes disclosing pictures.

Well aware of how brutal the social media space can be, the dancers say they only want their baby to be exposed to positive energy. The entertainer realised even more that they will need to shield their baby from the public after criticism they faced following videos of them performing at a local event. Marvin said two weekend's ago, Nickeisha made her first public appearance in seven months, and, despite her taking it easy and being very careful about how she entertained the crowd, persons still chose to criticise her.

Marvin told The STAR that since they announced she is expecting, Nickeisha has been keeping her distance from the entertainment scene and has been staying mostly indoors. "She don't even go out. People were seeing her for the first time in months and that's because we couldn't cancel those appearances. Nickeisha is healthy. She can wine up because she healthy fi wine up.

If she did a have problems she woulda sit down fi di whole night," he said. "We used to people talking and we can handle it, but our baby nah go experience dat because we a go keep the baby away from all the negativity as much as possible. We not even a go put up pictures for a while."

Marvin and Nickeisha both have children from previous unions. but this baby will be the first for them as a couple. "We're both excited that for all of the years we been together, the struggles and thing, we having a baby together. People have a lot of negative things to say about our relationship, but this is a blessing from the mighty to show some a dem negative people deh say good things can happen for two persons regardless of how much hate people hate," Marvin said.

In addition to preparing for a newborn, they continue to nurture their music careers.
