I-Octane headlines Shades Night Club’s 25th anniversary event

Adult entertainment entity Shades Night Club in Ocho Rios is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and will be marking the occasion with a silver jubilee extravaganza on July 27, featuring dancehall star I-Octane, along with Dclubz and Card Unit.

The event will also feature performances by Bad Boyz Entertainment, Xtreme Pushers, Too Cool Dancers and Jamaican Michael Jackson.

In addition, there will be a three-way dance-off between Shades Amazing Divas, Sailors Club Dancers and Lucky 38 Club Dancers. The event will be hosted by DJ Chicken, with music by Kronic Supreme and 'juggling' by DJ Flex, Cool and Deadly, and DJ Real Cool.

Proprietor Lloyd Cameron said that the club started small in 1994 before being extended in 2006 for a fresh look.

"We have grown to be a brand name with international acclaim and respect, as we have set the standard in adult entertainment," Cameron said.

"Twenty-five years and still number one is a unique achievement for an exotic dancing club in Jamaica. Our current patrons are children and grandchildren of original customers, so we are in fact catering to generations of satisfied customers."

Cameron said the formula for the club's success is proven, first-class adult entertainment, with hospitality, honesty, reliability in a safe environment for patrons and their vehicles.
