Suspected suicide involving 12-y-o St Ann boy

A 12-year-old St Ann boy is suspected to have committed suicide.

He has been identified as Aaron Richards of Fort George district, who was a student at Marcus Garvey Technical High School in the parish.

His body was found hanging from a piece of rope around his neck from the balcony of his home.

The discovery was made about 7:30 this morning.

The police were summoned and the scene processed.

The  body was removed for a post-mortem.

The incident is being probed by the Claremont police.
