Quecee promotes ‘To Mi Heart’

Reggae artiste Quecee believes his latest single, To Mi Heart, is relatable and believes every listener will be able to identify with something in the storyline.

He explained that the song was inspired by his desire to represent the experiences of an intimate relationship which we all face.

"The whole scenario is about the saying that men take women for granted, but it goes both ways. It is the kind of single that highlights circumstances that usually happen in relationships overall. It is really about a girl who has her relationship with her partner, but her guy is in other relationships out there. He is a player, but there is somebody else on the side watching what's happening with them because they have close contact with that person," he explained. "It reached a point where the girl walked out of the relationship because the man a cheat pon her and she got to the point where she has had enough. So this other guy stepped in now and treated her the way she wants to be treated. So basically I wrote this song because I felt it is relatable."

Quecee has high hopes for the single as he said the feedback has been good.

"Everybody a link me a say a it this ... dem love the riddim, dem love the melodies ... dem love everything," he said.
