The Browns have always found ways to make their wedding anniversary memorable. Having been married for the past 23 years, Lola Robinson-Brown and Kevin Brown say they often party with families and friends, and take vacations to mark the special milestone.

Yesterday they spent the nights under the stars, watching Burna Boy in concert at the National Stadium in Kingston.

"This show seemed like a fitting pick since it falls exactly on our special occasion," said Kevin, who spent the evening with his wife in the VIP area.

It was also Kevin's birthday and the first time Kevin and Lola were seeing the African giant in action. He said that when they heard of the Nigerian taking his Love, Damini tour to Kingston, they knew they were not going to miss it.

"I believe it's a good thing to introduce the Africanness into our music. It can do no harm and it was also a great way to promote Kingston," Kevin said.

For Lola, 55, the Burna Boy show is her first live concert and she was elated to add another memorable date to the calendar.

The Browns love story started more than 25 years ago in December 1993, one night at an event during the Christmas holidays.

Kevin, 49, was a mixologist working in the hospitality sector, stole her heart with a special concoction and a caring personality. At the time, neither Lola or Kevin knew their meeting would lead to a long-term romantic relationship. Today the Browns are parents of two grown women.

"Our daughters are beautiful. I gained a step-daughter when I connected with Lola and we also have a 26-year-old, but tonight was about us. They keep us young, as a matter a fact, Lola keeps me young," Kevin said.
