Dancehall entertainer and entrepreneur D'Angel says that she pays herself the highest of compliments, and that if there is ever a moment she does not feel confident, she knows the remedy.

"Even women who are known for their high self-esteem have different concerns about their image, or may have areas of their bodies that they are not comfortable with. There's never a moment [when] I don't act out of confidence, but there are areas of my body, like my breasts, that I am conscious about since having my son. You will find that loving yourself is different, and just by putting some love on yourself, a person will get that automatic feeling of confidence," D'Angel told THE WEEKEND STAR.

The singjay, who has kick-started a road tour and pop-up shop series for her lingerie brand Xposed, shared that she has often relied on self-motivation and self-love in order to feel comfortable in her own skin; and she does not allow any chance to pass her by to impart those life-coaching skills on others.

"I've launched the Xposed road tour pop-up shop to meet the demands coming from women all over the island. There are so many women who want a piece from the collection but don't have direct access to the brand. So, I'm doing the pop-up shops in the daytime and going to the clubs at night. My lingerie designs are not limited to any one type or shape of woman," she said.

Other female entertainers such as Raine Seville and Pamputtae have modelled and posed as Xposed brand ambassadors. D'Angel touched a few nerves after she joined OnlyFans, and then again one year later when she launched Xposed. But she was pleased with her decision to not allow the entertainment industry to stifle her ideas to earn from and expand her brand.

"As somebody that has been in the fashion and music industry simultaneously, I have managed to create a brand that is able to stand on its feet and offer empowerment to other women. I can also be proud to know that my lingerie brand is a giving-back effort; giving a lot of women who can't afford to buy the elaborately priced brands, designs of the same high quality. Nutten nuh pass $3,000 and a per cent of the proceeds from the pop-up shop also goes to my foundation and its upcoming outreach," she said.

"Valentine's Day is coming up, women want to dress in something sexy for them partner and I have an eye for people's personalities...so I'm urging persons to come out to the pop-ups and I can look at them and help choose, and say, 'Trust me, this is the one you want'," she said.
