A policeman has been suspended by the Jamaica Constabulary Force after he was caught on camera cursing a justice of the peace (JP) last week.

The Inspectorate of Constabulary (IOC) said that they have also commenced a probe into the incident that involved the cop, who is assigned to the Clark's Town Police Station in Trelawny.

In a part of the five-minute video, which has been making the rounds on social media, the incident seemingly occurred outside a bar where a police car was parked. During the argument, the policeman, who is in uniform, angrily told the JP to perform a number of lewd acts on his mother.

"Go 's..k yuh mumma and go weh. Me a bad bl........t police without apology," the cop said.

As persons tried to calm the fuming lawman, he used even more expletives, then walked towards a bar to order a cold light beer.

"Mek JP s..k him madda p...y and go weh. Me a police, tell di bl.......t commissioner, " he said as he stumbled out of the bar.

As the video continues to gain hundreds of views and shares on social media, there are mixed reactions from the public. Some persons have shown support, while others are calling for the cop's dismissal.
