Man accused of murdering Shante Skyers set ablaze

A man was mobbed and killed by angry residents of Sterling Castle Heights in West Rural St Andrew on Wednesday.

The residents blamed the man for abducting and killing eight-year-old Shante Skyers.

Skyers' body was found in the community on Tuesday, five days after she went missing. Her body was found amongst rubble in an area known as Blue Hole in the community.

The police are now on the scene in a section of Sterling Castle called Bulla Level where a man, accused of killing Skyers, was set ablaze and burnt to death.

The deceased man's house was also set ablaze.
