Rain forces postponement of Appleton Estate Signature Nights

May 30, 2019

Poor weather conditions have forced the postponement of Appleton Estate Signature Nights, which was scheduled for this Thursday at Murray’s Chillin’ in Clarendon.

The new date for the show, which will feature Sizzla Kalonji, is Thursday, June 6. Sizzla has already promised fans a one-of-a-kind experience at the show.

“For my fans who will be seeing me perform live for the first time at Appleton Estate Signature Nights, you can expect more excitement, Sizzla burning the fire, singing your favourite songs and being up close and personal with me. You can make your requests and it will be a beautiful atmosphere for the people, one of love and respect,” the artiste said.

With Jamaica experiencing unstable weather conditions for almost a week, the organisers have been forced to reschedule the event.

The Meteorological Service on Thursday said that although cloudy conditions with light rainfall affected sections of most parishes Wednesday night, the forecast is for moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms to once again develop across the island today.
