Gun seized in Hanover

An operation by the police on Orange Bay Road in Hanover on Sunday, January 16, yielded a firearm and several rounds of ammunition.

The Green Island Police report that about 7:55 a.m., the police conducted a search of a premises in the area, when one AK-47 Assault Rifle was found fitted with a magazine containing three 7.62 rounds.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
