Portland teen charged with house breaking, larceny

A 14-year-old boy is set to answer to the charges of house breaking and larceny after he allegedly stole two Amazon Tablets, and a bicycle from a man’s home in Snow Hill, Portland.

According to the Port Antonio Police, about 7:45 a.m. on September 20, the complainant locked up his house and went to work.

On his return, he discovered that his house was broken into and the items, valued at $80,000 in total, were missing.

A report was made to the police and the teen was subsequently arrested and charged in connection to the incident.

He is scheduled to appear before the Port Antonio Parish Court on Tuesday, October 18.
