The Prime Minister (PM) Andrew Holness' Budget Debate presentation has been delayed way beyond a five minute break that was requested, after technical issues with the sound system forced him to halt shortly after the start of his presentation.

The STAR understands the PM has returned to his office in Parliament awaiting the repair of the sound system.

Meanwhile, Members of Parliament, representatives from the private sector, diplomats and government officials are also waiting for the problem to be rectified to hear the PM's presentation.

At least one Government MP  has cited "sabotage" as the reasoning for the sound issues.
