700 pounds of ganja seized in St Elizabeth

Over 700 pounds of marijuana were seized by the Area 3 Narcotics Division during an operation in the Arlington District in St Elizabeth on Saturday, January 27.

It is reported that between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., lawmen carried out an operation in the area, leading to the discovery of the illicit drug on a blue tarpaulin.

The police say the find has an estimated street value of  $250,000.

No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.
